Mashero Pty Ltd is a black-woman-owned, accredited agricultural training company based in South Africa. With nearly 20 years of industry experience, our founder, Nkhangweleni Sharon Mphaphuli, leads a passionate team committed to creating job opportunities, advancing food security, and building sustainable rural livelihoods through agriculture.
To deliver accessible, high-quality, and practical agricultural education that empowers disadvantaged populations to participate meaningfully in the agricultural economy.
A thriving generation of agri-entrepreneurs and farmers who are skilled, resilient, and economically independent.
Mashero Pty Ltd was born out of a deep passion for empowering communities through agriculture. Founded by Ms. Nkhangweleni Sharon Mphaphuli, the company reflects her unwavering commitment to rural development, food security, and hands-on skills transfer. Growing up in a rural area, Sharon witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by emerging farmers—limited access to resources, lack of technical training, and disconnection from viable markets. Determined to change that, she founded Mashero with a clear mission: to provide practical, accredited agricultural training that uplifts youth, women, people with disabilities, and marginalized communities. With over 20 years of experience in the agricultural sector, Sharon brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to Mashero. She holds a Master of Technology in Agriculture Crop Production from Tshwane University of Technology, a B-Tech in Agriculture Crop Production from Pretoria Technikon, and a National Diploma in Agriculture Resource Utilization from Mangosuthu Technikon. Her academic and field expertise form the foundation of Mashero’s approach—training that goes beyond the classroom and into the field.
